Partnership with Common Good City Farm

This garden project would not have been possible without the support and instruction of one of our newest community partners, Common Good City Farm.  Through Common Good City Farm's Youth Employment Program, CGCF youth instructed M.O.M.I.E's Youth Ambassadors on how to construct raised beds and plant.

Thanks to the support of Common Good City Farm and Serve DC, M.O.M.I.E's was able to build and plant a garden during the summer of 2014! The garden comprises of vegetables and herbs for our children, youth, volunteers, families, and supporters. Also, HUGE thank you to the Youth Ambassadors of M.O.M.I.E's for their numerous days of labor to help clean for, build, and plant the garden!

Our garden comprises of 5 raised beds! We are looking forwar to planting a spring 2015, stay tuned for more information on our spring plant day!
